  Hackney Vegan restaurant WAVE (We Are Vegan Everything) offers a fully vegan menu with a good selection of gluten free options. The menu includes a dozen or so mains; from Smoothie Bowls to avo toast to pancakes (even an American align savoury pancake- what’s that all about 😉). Then there are the pastries, cacao energy balls, smoothies, teas, etc. A really great menu that will have us returning more than once. There are dishes we just must try. Every one in our group ordered something different and were all thrilled with our choices (yes of course there was sharing and tasting happening 😊). The food was of excellent quality, tasty and enough variety that everyone will find something exciting. The open plan chic venue is open during the day and is only 6 minutes walk from Hackney Central Station. There is also a large outside space for warmer weather. You order at the counter and get a buzzer with the food coming in good time. All this was good quality and tasty, healthy food; perfect for a Sunday brunch. There was a pleasant and relaxed environment with helpful staff and quick turnaround. In addition, there are some items for sale that could potentially make good gifts. We will certainly be returning more than a few times.

  An all-vegan café is hard to come by in London and surely appreciate providing such a facility in Hackney. The food was quite decent with the peanut butter coffee taking the crown. The restaurant is primarily self-service and has a nice rustic ambience that makes for a good brunch place. The prices are a bit steep but not prohibitively high. Surely recommend a visit!

  Calm atmosphere and a cool vibe. Not too loud and nice choices of music. The food was incredible, especially the pancakes. Already been twice and will keep going back for the amazing food!

  I love this place but the coffee is so tiny! I love vegan pastries, sandwiches, pancakes and coffee flavours but both coffee and smoothies are so tiny it’s unfortunately overpriced 😭 customer service was great!

  Fabulous Vegan brunch! I enjoyed a beautiful brunch at WAVE, it's so nice to be able to choose anything from the menu instead of only having one or two options. We definitely over ordered with big brunches, and pastries and juices. But it was all so good, it was hard not to!
